| KidCare Toy Drive to benefit the over 750kids housed in shelters by Homes for the Homeless
Now three years strong, our signature event has collected well over 4,000 toys and raised funds which has enabled us to sponsor / create many of the activities you can read about on this page. Seeing the smile on the children’s faces is what this is all about and is the essence of “Let Kids be Kids”.

| Annual KidCare Tee Ball Team
Sponsor Tee Ball Team for Homes for the Homeless ages 5-7yrs 2010, 2011, and beyond… This past season ended with a trip to the Yankee game, it was a blast!! We look forward to sponsoring for many years to come!!!

| Job Hops
In affiliation with Homes for the Homeless - Picture speed dating meets job interviews as we bring together young adults with professionals ranging from designers to people in finance and TV personalities. This gives the children exposure to many career paths in an exciting / fun atmosphere. We have hosted upwards of 5 job hops and look forward to many more.

| LAFH Kids go the the 2011 All Star Game Festivities
We had the opportunity to take over 50 children living in the LAFH Shelter to the 2011 NBA All-Star game festivities in Los Angeles. This event provided the kids with a once in a lifetime experience and to say the least we all had a blast!!!

| After School Arts Program to benefit Homes for the Homeless
During the 2010-2011 school year, a grant from KidCare helped fund yearlong, weekly dance classes for Saratoga elementary, middle and high school students, with a culminating performance in June. The grant also allowed children to see a Broadway show, a first for most of the children. Groups of children saw ImaginOcean, The Addams Family, and Sister Act. At the Prospect Family Inn, the KidCare grant purchased six child-friendly digital cameras and photography kits for the children to use on field trips, and to document daily activities and special events. As a result there are some budding photographers in the program, and fantastic visuals in each program space to remember what they learned and accomplished throughout theyear. We Look forward to sponsoring this and other programs for years to come!!!

| Movie Nights
What’s better than watching a movie on the big screen, pizza and ice cream of course! We have hosted several movie nights where the kids come to watch a movie, relax, and well just be!! This is ongoing throughout the year, we look forward to many many more!!!

| Clothing Collections
This has been ongoing, but since our inception we have collected well in excess of 200bags of clothing which includes dress clothes for our future young professionals. We have had the wonderful support of many but would highlight Harriet Kliegman who has gone above and beyond to collect clothing as well as donating tons of toys each year.
